The workshop series "Workshop für Politische Philosophie" was founded in 2015 by David P. Schweikard and Fabian Wendt, at the time both residents of the beautiful city of Hamburg. It was intended as a forum for analytically oriented political philosophy in Germany/Austria/Switzerland, allowing submissions in either German or English on any topic in political philosophy. For the upcoming 7th edition of the workshop, only submissions in English are allowed, though, and so the workshop has opened up for non-German speakers. David and Fabian sometimes organized the workshop alone (Hamburg 2016, Flensburg 2017 and 2022), sometimes they organized it in cooperation with others: Henning Hahn (Berlin 2018), Adis Selimi (Düsseldorf 2023 and 2024) and Julian F. Müller (Graz 2025). Submitted abstracts for the workshop are always double-blind peer-reviewed.
